Punjab Secretary PMKP Joins CMKP
On the 21st of June 2004, the PMKP General Secretary of Punjab
officially joined the CMKP in a public meeting held in Patoki, Kasur. The meeting was attended by central committee members of the CMKP and local CMKP and PMKP cadres.
The unit of Patoki under the leadership of the former PMKP General
Secretary Punjab officially joined the CMKP and was embraced with
open arms by all members of our party. With this cross over the units of students, bonded labour, party cadres, and manufacturing workers associated with that unit have also crossed over to the CMKP making a significant contribution to our strength.
His letter of resignation was read publicly in the meeting. When he
was asked how he felt about the last year of internal struggle he
responded:
"The party is my home, it is my family. I can never leave my home or
my family. I feel that I took a temporary detour owing to
misunderstandings created by conspiratorial elements and now I have
returned home."
This ceremony filled CMKP cadres with a sense of new pride in their
correct struggle to defend Marxism-Leninism, Communism and the Hammer and Sickle. CMKP has won over a clear majority of cadres. The former PMKP gen. sec. has also been able to provide the CMKP with vital information about the internal contradictions within his former faction of the party. It is very clear from all signs that the PMKP is on the verge of an implosion. A window to cross over has been opened, it is inevitable that with the implosion of the rightists, party unity will be fully restored.
Long live the CMKP
